Arrived back in Newcastle yesterday the sun was shining it was pleasantly warm and my sister picked me up in her new (to her) E46 convertible, roof down of course.
Got to my parents and there she was sitting in the sunshine, grabbed the keys, dropped the roof put my bags in the boot (funnily they fitted better in the Z than in the E46) and drove off, the temp had dropped to about 10degC but was still sunny so I pressed on across the A66 bizzarely watching the temp rise while the sky started to darken as the sun disappeared.
By the time I got home it was dark, temp was still around 15degC and the I had the roof down all the way and it was the best drive I've had this year bar none, well that it is until I head off to Stoke later today, the sun is shining it's warming up nicely............ :driving:

Nice one, I'm always a bit indifferent about driving my soft-tops with the roof up and often take the daily runner unless the roof is likely to be off, but the transformation and buzz with it down is fantastic especially with the six-pot sound track turned up
