Main thing for me is I can post specific interest stuff just to those who will be interested (Z4 circle for example). Sure, I can post just to a page on FB, but it's not quite so slick.

I think it is twitter that will suffer more than anything, as people generally want feedback and discussion and twitter doesn't support that very well, and it has the stupid char limit tht mks evry1 spk lyk ths!

I'm unconvinced so far, prefer Facebook for the amount of users but Google+ does seem OK. Just another place I've got to check though.

A group of us use Google+ for organising mountain-biking rides and general chit-chat, but we've previously been using Google Wave (hopeless on mobiles) and then tried Beluga (PITA to use). Google+ is the best of the lot so far IMO.
