Google Play Music - Factory iPod

Does any one know if you can use google play music on your iPod with the factory iPod connection?

I don't currently have an apple device but I will get one if this is the case. All my music is on google play music and don't really want to switch to iTunes.

There's an official Google Play Music app for Apple devices, so I assume it work fine.

Thanks for your reply, that's what I thought, but I wasn't sure if the iPod connector on the Z4 would only be able to play from the iTunes app. Not sure how the software works and if the iPod connector near the CD changer is factory fit or retrofitted at a later date.

Mine will pick up audio from the Apple Music app, or the BBC iPlayer, or any other streaming service.

Cool, I have a friend with an old iPhone 4 so I'm going to give this a go before I get one.

I stream from the amazon app, and spotify, through the intravee. Only annoying thing is that when it starts up, it always assumes that itunes is preferred, so it loses the playlist position.

I see, I'm looking to be able to search my music via the stereo controls as apposed to stream from the music player on the phone.

I can use the controls to skip tracks. I haven't been able to search, but the search is through the intravee software anyway. Once the intravee kicks in, its back to itunes.
