Google Homepage help

This is driving me nuts. On my ipad, whenever I use Safari and go to the google homepage i get this bloody link appear at the top to use of view via Google Search app. I dont want to do that but cant seem to find how to switch off this ultra annoying reminder. Any ideas? I just want a basic search page and keep accidentally clicking the google logo as the reminder shifts the page down mid type!

You can't "switch off" the annoying reminder, it is built in to the we page and will show up every time you reload the page. I prefer to use the search built into the safari browser (in the top right), it's just a shortcut to search google.

Edit: for the search bar on the top right of the browser, you can change the default provider by going into the safari section of the settings.

I've had this too. Now I just type my search into the internet address bar - since Google is my default search engine it gets me the result I want

or just use Chrome browser on your Ipad... thats what i do - as i like how my apple and windows device's are all syn'c up!

I use chrome on ipad - works great and the "talk" search works brilliantly compared to siri
