Has anyone else noticed that if you search for a Z4 problem, Google reports an AI solution at the top of the search results...?

You mean in normal Google search? I dont see this? Maybe they are trialling something with some users?

Problem with all this AI stuff is what is real and what isn't.

I'm really not likeing how people are recreating famous people, the likes of John Lennon etc and applying music they never even sang and posting the rubbish on Instagram etc Why?

I can see AI has its uses but it really needs restricting.

Tim.

To be fair the black american founder thing was an experiment google were trying to remove bias from the learning algorithms, of course some groups on the internet turn it into something else. It is a great tool in business for summarising information in certain instances, great for time saving, but yes it does pull down things that dont exist which is why at the moment human element is required. AI is a tool, not a replacement, for people, it has the ability in the longer term to save so much time and effort around menial tasks.

If you’re trying to go deeper than a quick overview like this, tools like AtomicBot can help structure and break down AI-generated information into more practical insights and use cases instead of just raw summaries.

Yes, this is a typical example of where ChatGPT is truly convenient—a quick, basic overview without having to dig through dozens of sources.

But it's important to understand that such answers are usually "generalized." For example, for the E85 3.0si, everything is generally correct, but the details may vary slightly depending on the market and year: power output, transmissions, trim levels, etc. BMWs, in particular, often have nuances regarding firmware, packages, and regional specifications.

Most people are moving from Google search to Chat gpt, stops all the hard work searching through the internet separate pages and piecing your issue together.

I have an mountfield ride on lawnmower I bought as a package with my new house, not that old but no documentation. The engine instruction manual isn't available and the mower instruction manual is built for people who would never work on it.

It was backfiring, wouldn't start without a big crank, oil in the air filter, poor running. Even just changing the oil it wasn't simple. Now I know how to do it, it is, but as someone who has never worked on one.... so I needed fix it description and a couple of pics to chat gpt and a couple of hours and I fixed it. Again would have had to get a mechanic and spent £££ on a call out because I don't have a trailer to get it to someone.

I also have 25+ year old electric gates basically pre internet product support. They were inoperable with a tannoy. Took the tannoy apart and it wasn't wired up. No diagram about 30 possible connection. A couple of pics to chat gpt I got the tannoy wired up to the box to the gate controller in the house, unlocked the motors, adjusted them and got them up and running after 10 years of them being sat stationary. And now they are working perfectly!

I'm no mechanic but like trying to do things myself. No way I would have fixed the gates myself without spending 3-400 on a call out for an engineer.

The mower was simple but I had a lot of issues that needed diagnosing and I told it what was wrong and it basically gave me all the tools to do it myself.

It's an absolute game changer.
