Goodyear Efficient Grip???

Hi guys, has anyone had any experience with the following tyre?

Replacing the runflats on my z4, got the 18 inch wheels and the sport suspension, a very hard bunpy ride! I've got Falken 452's on the rear but not overly impressed with them, and will need to change the fronts to normal tyres too.

Don't really want to spend a fortune either!

Cheers

Not tried those but can rate the Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2  Had the Asymmetric's on my previous car and going to be putting them on the Z4 when I replace the RFTs.

Just changed all mine to Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 as well. As an added bonus I got £40 back in fuel vouchers :D

Based on your comments regarding ride preference and budget, the Efficient Grip would be an excellent choice. It's actually a derivative of the F1 Asymmetric II in design, but tuned for a touring/performance drive. So, where it gives up in ultimate handling, it makes up for in improved ride characteristics, respecting a mid-tier budget along the way.

FYI, I'm in my 26th year working for Goodyear, presently in the role of retail business development manager. (If that makes me qualified to comment :D).

Im getting these 225x45x17 fitted on my car as we speak. Great choice for those of us who like the benefits of wet grip and fuel consumption (although not massive savings here).

Cheaper than the Eagle F1's too.

I got mine for below trade price due to a relative working in the garage :D

Just an update for the poster... Had the efficient grips fitted to my z4 yesterday, done around 20miles, ride is noticebly smoother, I ditched the runflats and sat them on a couple Hyber black chrome 17's... dropped 21lbs of weight in the process. Handling is slightly better as a result. The grip is phenomenal on them and just cant stop staring at the tyres.
