Goodwood meet Sunday December 14 2014

I'm not averse to travelling via Midhurst if required; the road south to Chichester from Midhurst is pretty good anyway!

Fair point from Wilbo re arriving in a big group, but if the weather is nice, I still think it'll be fun, and if people want to laugh I'm not hugely fussed. I've had to bear it from all the non-car folk I've lived/worked with most of my life anyway!

I don’t care about arriving in a group either. People who laugh obviously don’t care for cars or people who like to go for a drive so I don’t care for them!

Anyhoos, down to 770 now! Just 20 more people to go. Midhurst sounds good to me. I’ll give the car a clean at home on the Saturday but my drive over will probably just cover it in a load of crap again. The only downside to living in the country.
 
I still need around 20 something people to drop out to get access. What time and where you guys meeting in Midhurst, just in case I get a space? Ta. :D
 
20+ people will easily drop out before the weekend, sure the cold weather will frighten some people off too. Going to have to clean about 6 weeks worth of dirt off the car on Saturday, that will be fun!
 
Ditto Wilby. Not sure I'm going to get a chance to clean mine either! :( might have to jet wash the worst off and be done with it!

I've not had an email yet, but provisionally I suggest we meet at 08:00 at the public carpark in Midhurst?

Is anyone popping down for the Saturdays track day? I might drop in and spectate for a bit.

Can we make it a bit later than 8? For me to get to Midhurst it's an 1hr & 15min drive so that would mean a very early Sunday start. I'm not suggesting much later just a tad. 8:45?

Is there a consensus on meeting time yet as I see someone suggesting changing times. 8)
 
Despite comments to the contrary I quite like the idea of "Zeds en masse" arriving at Goodwood.

So to my certain knowledge that means that the following are going:
Ed Doe
Roundozo
Apw67

The nucleus of the "plan" seems to be:
1. Ed Doe and I meet in the square at Petworth at 07:30
2. Ed and I meet Roundozo in the car park at Midhurst at 07:45 (post code GU29 9DW)
3. Then a miracle happens!!!

Apw67 - whereabouts are you? Does either 1 or 2 above work for you? If not, what would work?

There was some talk in the thread of meeting in Chichester, but cannot recall who was involved in that leg - maybe Wegras?

All of the above assumes that we're going to be there early. Gates open at 08:00 if I read things correctly.

All further contributions gratefully received. Believe me, you really don't want to run to a plan that is only mine!!

Either way, I am really looking forward to Sunday. :driving:
 
I'm happy to meet at Midhurst but can we make it 8.30? I can get there earlier but that will mean less sleep, something that I enjoy almost as much as the Zed. For 8:30 I'll need to leave at 7 and get get up even earlier. If it's not possible then I'll just have to have an early night.
 
08:30 at Midhurst works for me. I am not averse to a bit of a lie in. That said, if we go too late I'll have to take the hound for a walk first, thereby undoing my much-needed beauty sleep.

Ed - does that work for you with us meeting at Petworth at about 08:15?
 
Sounds good to me. See you all at the Midhurst car park at 8:30. Fingers crossed the weather man is wrong.
