Hi! I bought my first Z4 yesterday. I just can't wait to receive it now...

Whilst signing my life away I noticed a poster relating to Goodwood this year. I didn't make a note of the details (as my mind was on other things!) However the general gyst was that if you presented your key fob to a BMW Owners Club or BMW marque/hospitality you would gain entry... Something like that...

I've searched all over the net and mailed the guy at BMW who organised the Goodwood Press Day in March (no reply yet) but cannot find anything about this.

Do any of you have any information pertaining to this?

James

Right then guys. I contacted BMW directly and this is part of their reply:-

"All you have to do is locate our BMW Pavilion situated in the main exhibition area (opposite Goodwood House) and show your BMW key fob to gain access to the top floor of our structure where you will be able to relax and enjoy complimentary refreshments."

So that's something to look forward to. A lovely nod to the customers that assist BMW in being able to put on such great stands etc...

Great stuff.

I'm going on the 30th (my birthday.) if anyone else is there that day, get in touch.

Im trying to put my name down to work (these kind of events often have doctors milling about) - dont think we get paid, but free entry and lunch just for seeing a few people with heat stroke and telling them to sit in the shade and drink some water

Probably the same thing that they do for the BMW Championship golf at Wentworth, I'm guessing they might have the new M5 on show there this year

Went along today, really good. BMW had several guests incl. Jake Humphrey. Nice array of cars including the new M5. Nice! The whole event was brilliant.

I can't go over the weekend, but wish anyone who does all the best.

The Red Arrows really do make one feel proud to be British.

I went today, it really was brilliant. BMW were as hospitable to owners as ever, and they had a number of guest celebrities, including Jake Humphrey.

I can't go this weekend, but anyone who is will be in for a treat. Awesome stuff!

Thrill of the day, either the Tag Heuer girls (it's my birthday today, so you officially have to forgive this rather sad comment - it's written in law) or the Red Arrows, they really do make one feel proud to be British!!
