Goodwood 2021, Anyone going?

I have never been, and fancy going next year. Anyone else going, could we do a Club visit?

Going as I had tickets for this year, so moved to next year.

Hi there all - I've booked tickets that went on release this morning. Sadly Saturday had sold out (despite being on there at 09:00, likely because of carry over from 2020). I've booked for Sunday - it's my first time going (assuming it goes ahead), so am pumped!

Any tips from old timers?

Go for opening time! It gets super rammed on the bridge later in the day. And I'd say buy a seat in the stands. Its expensive...but a much better viewipoint for watching the action and nice to get away from aforementioned crowds from time to time. Standing in the boiling heat fighiting for somewhere to stand by the edge of the course is not much fun.

Cannot see how it will be all systems go in July tho....intriguing!

That is good to know - we have booked an AirBnB not far away so we can get there for 07:00 sharp.

For the grandstand tickets, again these were all gone at 09:00 this morning (so had either already been sold)

So looking at Sunday only, and Supercar parking.

Now is the super car parking going to be a pain in the arse getting in and out?

Never done Supercar parking, it’s basically a field at the top of the site just like the ‘normal’ car park - but wider spaced and people wander about taking photos. Probably no worse than the normal one...they manage it pretty well.

For the grandstand tickets, again these were all gone at 09:00 this morning (so had either already been sold)

Ah! That’s a shame. But it’ll still be good don’t worry there’s plenty to see and you can sit on the drive home!
