It's been a while since I was active on this forum, but just wanted to say that it's been a great resource and the members have been a great help whenever I've had a question.
So after 5 brilliant years of ownership I will be selling my Z4 due to needing something a bit more practical since I've discovered how much space a baby takes. We've managed for just short of a year with this and an A3, but just feel we need more space and the flexibility of being able to use both cars when required. Looking for a quick sale, as I have a lease car on it's way, so i'll be trying the likes of WBAC and EvansH , will let you know what they are like, heard nightmares about them, but am prepared to get less than value they have offered. Surprisingly, the offers are about £1k more than offers I got from them around Autumn last year, maybe a result of the new car tax rules and diesel gate???
Anyway, highlights of ownership are definitely a 3 week road trip to Lake Como, absolutely epic! Also, just the joy of getting to put the hood down when you get a surprise burst of sunshine.
Honestly, i'm going to be gutted once it's sold, the car still puts a smile on my face when I put it into sports mode, if I could run it as a third car, it would be a no brainer, still think it's one of the prettiest cars on the road.
Anyway thanks again Z4 forum and Z4 for all the memories, I may well be back again in 10 years time with another e89 or perhaps even the new Z4. In the meantime, everyone keep enjoying this awesome car!
