Goodbye Z4, hello...

Yes yours looks whiter ... Notice it especially against the lights. I'm afraid he agrees to his being called the Sprinter  Certainly turns some heads though

David, not sure how I missed your post but glad your purchase has all gone through!!! Congrats!!!! :D

You will love it, obviously a different animal to the Zed (being a diesel and auto), :poke: but I'm really really pleased with mine. Its such a relaxing car to drive, so smooth and comfortable. I always arrive at work/home feeling no stress at all!

I think looks and styling are subjective, and agree that from some angles the Zed looks prettier, but I personally love the nose and front end!
Cheers
Just waiting on delivery date for Oct/Nov. Train to Crewe then a wee drive home to Glasgow :driving:

Now just need to work out how to give the Z back. It's quite a convoluted process

Yes the existing model is good, and the new 2015 R8 will be a "game changer" I'm informed :driving:

It's in dealer, being delivered on Wednesday seat belts being removed at a later date

Congratulations shambolic, have you gone for red leather seats?

Just had my E350 serviced today, what a great experience that was and completely stress free and miles ahead of BMW. Arrived at 8:30 and drove into the drive in service drop off area, met by the service receptionist at the drop off area, who took the keys and then guided me straight to a table at service where I was introduced to the service team manager, advised him of a squeak, sign the job sheet and then on my way. A call two hours later to say that it's all done and come and collect.

I have to admit having just had the Evoque serviced, that was a way better experience than I ever had from BMW! I actually felt they like they were interested in giving me good service! Come on BMW dealers, get your act together!

The BMW dealer I use has always been spot on and exemplary which I why I keep going back. Its down to the individual franchise and not the manufacturer at the end of the day.

To be fair this is true. I used a BMW dealer in another county years ago when I had MINI's and they were great, but still not topped Land Rover so far.

Can't really compare, the BMW dealer you see every other year whilst with a Land Rover you will be on first name terms within a couple of months .... :poke:

shambolic, really like that colour combo! Hope you are enjoying the 500 Nm of torques? 8) :driving:
Not really booted it too much.
It is scarey the torques kicking in at 1500RPM in sport mode coming off a roundabout and kicking down :driving:
Gave me a fright the first time as the erse kicked out big time!!
Done 800 miles noo on 1 and 3/4 tanks of fuel tae 8)
So much smoother to drive than the Z4 and I didn't realise how bad the ride was on the 19" runflats until I drove the SLK on 18s.
It just feels more "elegant" when pottering but that low down power kicking in is insane.
The Z4 is being picked up for the Auction by BCA on Monday.
Sad to see it go as I did really like it and would probably have bought another if they did the same colour and engine and the dealership was a bit better.
Also hats off to MB Maccliesfield for great service in every way.
Apart from the wrong seatbelts :poke:
Which are being replaced in Glasgow free
