Hope everyone had a great Easter weekend and managed to get out for some (s)miles

Finally had the run-flats removed aaaaaannndd my god what a difference it makes!
No more tram-lining!
No more back breaking bumps!
No more random steering flinches!

To anyone who has not done this, words cannot express how much happier you will be with the ride!

Also got some nice looking deep dish rims from BMAutoport - Thanks again Mark!

Photospam.... The sun really brings out the blue!

Next job is to refurb the 108's.... one bolt at a time!

Enjoy... :driving:

Lovely wheels. 8)

Your going to get through a few tooth brushes keeping them clean.

judging by the tyre sidewalls I'd say 18's

I thought the same, because of the dish and the design they look like 16"s, I suspect the picture doesnt really do them justice

255/35/18 R 225/40/18 F

the dish and length of the spokes possibly makes the wheel look smaller

Did you read the tyres?
Clever girl :P

Your right its the dish and the spoke length that makes them look almost squished lol

I'm a busy man and I knew someone would do it for me... :poke:

Thanks, i'm actually really pleased with how they look, although now you mention it i can see how they look squished haha.
In all honesty you don't tend to notice in the flesh, they sit further out and fill the wheel arches nicely too.

So far they don't seem too bad to clean; I can get a sponge between them pretty easy, although not been properly dirty yet - expect it will be the faux rivets that end up needing the toothbrush! Which in my mind are a salute to the 108's bolts... if you squint and cant count.

I wanted to find something relatively easy to keep clean, not too much £££, 18" 8/9 f/r widths and not the CSL reps (look great but I wanted something a little different)

Now i'm off to find UK's version of route 66

Is your car carbon black like it says in your signature; it looks like a Monaco Blue? I can’t make up my mind whether I love or hate those rims, they are certainly different. I’m leaning towards love.

I am a total dish slut so as long as they have that :happyclap: lol

I do agree with Zedebee though that looks a lot like Monaco blue rather than the carbon black

Carbon Black ..... It is quite blue in that sun!

Nae arguing with that!
The sun def pulls out the blue, the dealer that sold me mine listed it as black but its not its the monaco blue, I suspect the paint contents are the same with something like 60% black 40% blue in the CB and 60% blue 40% black in the MB

haha - without the pic i thought it might take some convincing!
It did take a lot of googling to be sure i had bought a black car and not a blue car
