Goodbye from the North West

Nice one Spike , most forum users have had a "moment" online they would rather forget
Online meltdowns can be funny so don't hold back in the future ,let it go but just don't flounce off afterwards
Have you clocked the forum meet off the M62 this Sunday ?
More than welcome to join us

Welcome back.

This really is one of the friendliest forums I've seen

Jasey.

Ps don't put the badges on or there will be real trouble (if you do just don't tell us :D)

Welcome back, it does take a big man (or woman) to admit they over reacted and i now feel i misjudged you earlier in this thread for which i apologize. I do hope you enjoy your time on this forum.

Well done Spike. Great display of character. We all get wound up at times and have subjects that push our buttons, especially if they are emotive or based on previous experiences.

Sometimes better to breathe in and accept that everyone else is a moron..!!

H.

Welcome back Spike - Carol will now start nagging you to add your picture back on 'her' thread

Welcome back Spike, stick around bit ?

I do the email thing too... Sometimes it's soooooooo tempting to send it :D

Me too, but I'm a woman, so I send them and blame it on my bod :D

I think most of us were hoping for your return, but somewhat concerned by how it would be received. No need to worry - you have returned in style  Welcome back.

Damn right.

Sort it out Spikey and well done for taking your cap off and coming back.

I think I know which particular post it was that offended you but I suggest you go and read the thread again, the post was being quoted from a letter on a news site.

I fear now that he's back the fun of this thread may die out.

If at any time someone feels we're lacking a bit of drama, pm me and i'll take one for the team and quit the forum too. I may take it to the next level and not even tell anyone.

But is he back though after the single post ;)

Jimmy - go in the gearbox thread and you can have hours of fun, more controversial then the migrant issues

Welcome back to Spike though

Meet up? In person? Face to face? Good god, I'm not that unembarrassed!
No, I'll be out with me buddies from Manchester Triathlon club on Sunday morning, getting the miles in (unless I oversleep. Again. )
I think one of my worst moments at work was many many years ago, when I wrote an email to my then manager, complaining about one of our suppliers. The company in question was ComputaCenter. Throughout the email I referred to them as ComputaTossers. (Told you I was a reasonable chap). Anyway the next day I got a reply from my manager saying he hadn't had a chance to read it, but had forwarded it on to ComputaCenters service manager for me! I've had a meteoric career since then I can tell you.....

Oh, and guess what, I'm not even a real northerner!! I was actually born in the Channel Islands and lived darn sarf until I was 11. So only been oop norf for 46 years. (And I support Luton Town, so I'm not a proper footie fan either!!!) :D

Well, it sounds like we shared similar opinions on the migrant crisis thread (I just made mine known :poke: :fuelfire: ) - but this update on your past history suggests you'll fit in on this forum just fine...

FWIW I'm familiar with the named firm - I did my work experience with ComputaTossers many years ago. When i was about 15 years old i think... they were pretty useless.
