Goodbye for now (New Arrival 3.0si Coupe)

Welcome, Zed looks like a nice example 8)
Not a bad colour choice either
Must admit I do like the M135i/M235i. Enjoy the coupe :driving:

It was your car Dale that convinced me to go for white. It was that or a very nice (expensive) Monaco Blue example.

I had your car photos saved on my iPhone.

My wife hates white cars, but strangely she has taken it out today, in preference to the X5.

The M135i is amazing, lots around and will be bargains in 18 months or so.

Pleased I was able to influence your colour decision :) Mine was also from Sytner's, although a number of years ago now.

You may have to start hiding the keys from the wife!

Well she returned home with a smile, so she obviously enjoyed her ride.

I bought from Broak Oak in Kent. I felt that Sytner were doing me a favour, so I didn't buy their car.

Welcome from a fellow Coupe owner. You have obviously made the right choice! :poke:

Alpine White is definitely a rare colour - based on some numbers Taz got there were 5 SE Coupes and 18 Sport Coupes destined for the UK in that colour!

Now you just need to find a way to keep the Mrs out of it.

Welcome - that's a very distinctive looking Coupe.

I'll have to keep an eye out for you as we seem to both live in Cheshire (I'm near Nantwich).

Thanks, she's been out again in it today, but only because I needed the X5. Normal service will be resumed from tomorrow.

I wonder if the white car craze hadn't quite taken off back in 2007, 18 seems a low number.

I think that is exactly it - colours seem to be popular in cycles, and white wasn't fashionable in the fairly short life of the E86.

Enjoy resuming normal service!

Great car loved mine, always got great feedback even from people who had some great motors

Cheers Fella, what did you change to?

Moved onto a e89 bit better on the quality side (interior) but missed the smoothness of the straight 6..
Just sold the 28i thinking of getting a 435 90% going for the diesel (fuel of the devil) :o :o

The 35d is a fantastic engine and I was considering it, but the m135i has got me well & truly back into petrols. In time the 435i should hold its value better, the 335i is evidence of that, quite rare as a Coupe.

Wow your Zed looks very nice! The M135i is stunning and the performance is silly quick. I was close to getting one but I've fallen for the Z4, it'll probs be next in all honesty. Will be interesting to see what your thoughts are on the Zed compared to the M135i.

Both give the same driving enjoyment, but in different ways. The M135i is obviously more modern and that is very obvious driving the Z4C. It takes more effort to unleash the power in the Z4C, but then again it's a manual, so a direct comparison is more difficult.
