Anybody else not really feeling any difference before/after..?
Other than maybe the initial pedal feel. Jerkiness in lower gearchanges still there tho.

Some have reported there is no difference when removing from an ///M. All I can see is myself, Bing and mj2k have all carried out on our ///M's and can tell a difference.

Felt a huge difference, so what he said!

Although 'I' didn't exactly remove mine, Bing did the honours

Do you know if the z4m CDV has a larger hole the the non-M's? I always thought BMW didn't put the CDV in their higher end cars. I was under the impression some BMWs didn't have CDV's, does anyone know which? (and don't say the automatics..)

The hole did look larger than most pics/vids I've seen of it!

The hole you can see looking through the CDV is only half the picture. When you put your foot on the clutch fluid travels through this hole but also round the edges of the restricter. It's only when you release the clutch that the fluid is forced through the hole restricting the flow. I don't know if the hole is bigger or not, but is now doubt slightly different as a different CDV is used from non ///M's. Probably linked to the physical size of the clutch.

What do you mean travels around the edges of the restrictor? I always wondered how it could only provide its function from letting go of the clutch pedal and not the other way around. Can you explain?

Got my car back on tuesday with the valve removed and have to add in for anyone on the fence.....

TAKE THE BLOODY THING OFF

I have no idea why BMW fitted it in the first place, stupid thing. The car is just much more responsive when changing gear and even manouvering on the clutch feels better
