Good News!

Well itโ€™s been a long time coming, but, I had another liver clinic yesterday and they are very happy with my bloods.

Liver is doing great, kidneys have calmed down and my new diabetes seems to be under control  With a couple of tweaks to my medication I should be tickety boo ๐Ÿ˜€

Huge relief is an understatement ๐Ÿฅด๐Ÿฅด๐Ÿฅด

Iโ€™m 55 tomorrow which is no biggie, but as a Glasgow Rangers fan itโ€™s an important number. With that in mind when the Champions League draw was made I noted the Rangers v Liverpool game was to be played 12/10/22.

I made a few enquires here and there about tickets and was promptly laughed at as they are hens teeth.

However, out the blue Iโ€™ve now got 2 VIP tickets for the Sandy Jardine stand tomorrow night. So stoked about this, as I had always wanted to take my son and show him what itโ€™s all about ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

I let my brother know in Taiwan and he messaged me straight back saying โ€œpick any hotel you want and Iโ€™ll pay!โ€ ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€

So.......... me and the lad are off on a jolly back to Glasgow for 2 nights

& Iโ€™ll be honest with you, some days last year I thought Iโ€™d never get to do this with the lad, but here we are getting ready for an amazing trip with my son. If Carlsberg did..........

Oh and I โ€œmightโ€ be getting my Aero skirts fitted on Sunday ๐Ÿ’™

Great news all-round,Jock.
Pity tonight's result didn't go our way.
We were playing well in the first half, and should have taken the lead, again, but they blew us away in the second half.

Good to hear you're on the mend.

Look on the bright side Brian. In a 48 hour trip you had one minute of pure euphoria, 7 minutes of despair and 47 hours and 52 minutes of just sharing important time with your lad.
Pretty sure that not many months ago you'd have settled for that?

Well we are home safe and sound  Had a great time with Ben (son).

Well it wasnโ€™t to be on the night :( but he got to see us going 1 nil up. His face was priceless and Iโ€™ll treasure that for life. Thatโ€™s what the whole trip was about ๐Ÿ’™

Ibrox stadium is a different class and when they scored it went off the scales ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ’™

Great catch up with old friends, one Iโ€™ve known 51 years ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

Some pics, pity I canโ€™t post any videos to let you guys experience what itโ€™s all about ๐Ÿ˜‰

The first pic, is a FB post from one of my daughters (17), guess I must be doing OK ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ

You couldnโ€™t get a better tribute than the message from your daughter. It must make you feel immensely proud.๐Ÿ‘

It's good to see you had a great time Brian.

I share your pain over the result - as a life-long Chelsea fan I've got used to getting beaten by Liverpool. :(

Great news and what a fabulous experience with your son to celebrate
