Hi Everyone,
I've been lurking and reading up on here over the last few weeks but finally my girlfriend and I will be picking up our 2007 Coupe on Friday, the excitment is building by the day. :D

We've both been long term Honda owners for the most part of our driving lives so it feels odd stepping away from the marque after all these years. Hoping the Z will bring as much enjoyment as the Type R's have! (Though we'll still have one in the household)

Quick and dirty shot from the dealers, the old Accord getting part-ex'd parked up in the background, a little sad to be seeing it go :(

It's not perfect, but bodywork is good, though I think the dealer needs to have a word with their smart repair people and there use of masking tape. There's a few bits and bobs to do, I have a full weekend of detailing chores planned at the moment weather depending of course, then we can start on the slippery slope of modding....

Updates to follow once its home, bring on the fun!!

All the Best
Simon

Welcome Simon i have never owned a Honda had a few BMs i am sure you will enjoy it.

Well done and you have forum points for the picture

Welcome Simon

We still have an Accord for our family car - it's not a Type R though. Great cars, pretty bomb-proof... But you're going to love the Z

Hello and welcome. I see you've been a lurker as you've posted a pic before we ask!
Bet you can't wait to get your new car!

We've been a Honda family for ages, I had an old EK4 Civic vti before the Accord.
The other half has an EP3 that mostly lives in the garage, though far from standard, very track orientated (cage, remap, plate diff etc etc) and a bit hardwork on the road!
Mum had a Civic now a Jazz, Grandad has a Jazz, brothers had Civic's for years... theres a theme here somewhere. :D
