Good Guys

Id just like to say that iv been on quite a few forums with different cars and this one is deffinately the best...no one is judgmental or derogitory about other members cars or ideas and everyone on here is quick to help with positive advice and information. I dont know if this reflects on the kind of people that buy Z4`s or the tone set by the administators of this site..but id just like to say well done to all on here.

I'd say that part of the good vibes here are the fact that your average bogan (for lack of a better word) isn't into (and probably can't afford) cars like a Z4. The same reason excludes a lot of younger drivers too.

Certainly Z4-forum is indeed a great community though and I'm proud to be a member!

When i had my Skyline everyone spent time on that forum slagging each others mods or just not being constructive...Its good friendly banter on here, usually between the good looking roadster lot and those that bought the coupes because theyre to ugly to be seen out in public. lol

Not sure it's that... with Z4's going for well under £8k nowadays they are easily within reach of a lot of the... people you are referring to ;)

I like to think it's the admin that makes this place... he's a great fella... honest!! ;)

Ahh yes that's true about the price (I forget how much cheaper they are everywhere other than Australia!), but I still don't think it's the type of car that those sorts go for.

Oh silly me of course it's the great admin team :P

A little too alive sometimes - it can get hard to keep up!

Have to agree, had a lot of great advice from a lot of nice people on here!

Its also a great place to share anything, not just Z related!

But im coming from the younger end of the scale, were not all baseball cap wearing chavs out to destroy insurance claims for the good guys

If it wasn't for this forum I would never had fitted a mfsw, a gap tech roof module, a stubby. 19'' alloys etc. So all in all this forum has cost me a fortune!!

Have to agree - great forum

For the under £8k spend, I suspect the younger generation would be into riced up Jap Turbo machines....

You'll be alright as long as you fit a stubby

Just avoid the coupe owners though, they get miffed in the summer especially.

That is because they have to compete with all the 3 series on the road

Well my last car was an Alfa  . But seriously I thought it was a great car and a pretty good forum as well.

A different breed drive such niche cars I guess.

I agree the Alfa forum is a good place , I owned a few Alfa's myself, if you have had one it means your a real petrol head!!! :P

Evo forum was very catey as well , bit like the skyliner forum by the sounds of it

Yeah Top forum I agree !!!

I too used to have a skyline, and there was a lot of why did you put that mod - this is better , or my cars faster etc. never really took any advice from it
I am also a member on a MTB forum and although friendly, seems to average 1-2 posts a day. its as interesting as watching grass grow.

This site tho, is very active and friendly, and given me lots of great ideas (which always cost me, of course) and a fair amount of "fix / repair" advice. must be a good mix of admin / type of people that like the Z4. the z post aint got nothin on this forum! keep it up
