Keys just exchanged for cash so officially Zless again 
Its a nasty night for sure & i don't envy Chris the 100 mile drive north in wind & hail but am happy the car has gone to someone genuine & enthusiastic as did my coupe
At least i can have a 2nd opinion soon on the Conti rear winter / Michelin front summer combo that i found faultless

Happy its going to a good home & should be the 4th forum owner of the car (could be a record ? )
It wasn't showroom condition cosmetically when it landed & whilst it also needed some mechanical & service work i was more than happy to take it on .
Anyhow's a Friday night last minute ebay bid before Xmas on a V6 TT left me with a surplus car so i thought id list the Z for a month & if no sale then id list the TT for a month
The good news for anyone looking to sell their's is I have been swamped , literally could have sold it 4 times in 48hrs
Many longtimers here would say 2.5, base spec, over 100k & you'l struggle selling especially in winter
So enjoy your aged Zs safe in the knowledge they are still valued & still in high demand even over 100k
You'l have to wait for the new owner to post his pics

A good example for us to stop beating our own members values down, here on the forum.... Expected,good, realistic prices are obviously achievable elsewhere. :wink:

A really good point! It always seems like a chase to the bottom with people pointing out examples elsewhere that are a bit cheaper, ignoring the fact that regardless of mileage there is a lot of inferior dross out there as anybody who has looked for a good example will confirm.
Totally agree. I looked at a number of coupes with a lot less miles that were in a shocking condition, both cosmetically and mechanically.
A well looked after motor is always going to be the one to buy. Miles and age are not always the greatest barometer of a cars condition.
Still enjoying the coupe with just under 100K miles which is nothing for a well put togather car and looking forward to many more.
