Good car...ugly woman????

Whilst you men are being completely sexist to us girls, I have to say I would choose an average man with a nice car over a gorgeous man with a crappy car any day.

Men with cheap, crappy cars are either:
a) skint, therefore have a crappy job, are lacking in ambition and are no good for the long-term
b) have such low standards they don't mind being seen driving a loser-cruiser

An average-looking man can instantly seem 100% more attractive by driving a great car, dressing well and being charming and witty. :P

LOVE IT, a honest answer from a woman.......never thought id see the day!!!! Nice one GG

I completely agree.

Me - I'll take what I can get on both counts...

... driven some howlers when I've been down on my luck... and, well, let's just say I've not always been that fussy...

... fortunately I'm doing great on both counts atm, and she's not a psycho hose beast/ crocodillyhorrendypig to boot!

I'm 25, I don't have to work, I drive nice cars, have nice properties around the world and have a beautiful girlfriend.

Now if I were to drive an old banger one day and you saw me, you wouldn't give me the time of day? It works both ways gingergirl or whatever your name is.

Some people drive old cars because they're down on their luck, it doesn't make them losers.

If push came to shove I'd rather have a nice house than flash car, perhaps that's what some with old cars do.
Bottom line is you can't judge a book by its cover.

A little off topic I know...

Well said, people react to people, their looks gets immediate notice, eyes, smile laughter included, personality, conversation and manners are important too. It does not matter what you drive, but cars are considered extensions of our personalities and that ties in with how we feel about ourselves. Just my .02. Have met great men that drive toyotas, jeeps, and met dogs driving S550's, but in all cases it was the man NOT the car that did not work for me!

Stop being so PC, a woman is driven by nature to seek out a good provider for her children. So a guy that APPEARS to be successful will on some level attract a woman. Guys are driven by a desire to reproduce and will seek out the fittest partner he can. So a guy in a nice car equates to success and a beautiful woman equates to good breeding stock, in some subconsious way the majority of the time there will be a certain amount of attraction, easpecially if the guy looks like he looks after himself and is in good shape.

I agree with what you're saying Hunter, I was just making the point that it's not always clear cut.

It can work both ways, whilst being successful can have it's advantages, it also has it's disadvantages, such as gold diggers...

On a side note, where abouts are you Hunter in Notts? I grew up in Nottingham

I live just outside on the notts derby border. Ilkeston. I know it not clear cut. but even a gold digger ( if you know what she is about ) can have her uses!!! Where in notts are you from? what do you do for a living? As i type this im sat in my office on an oil rig up near norway!!!!

I lived in Bramcote/ Beeston, not far from the swimming pool. One of my friends lives in Ilkeston on a newish estate behind some factories.

I'm a structural engineer by profession, but I inherited 20 freehold residential and commercial properties in London and Surrey, that are rented out which provide me with s nice income and enable me to live a playboy lifestyle:-)

I was partly responsible for the club night at the royal in derby the other week.
