GONE!

But is the total cost of all of that not the same as if you give it to the dealer for 12k (or near as you said) ?

As I said I can't imagine a dealer working on such a slim margin, that would be the first time ever in my experience, but if the offer is there, take it and save yourself the hassle!

The dealer offer is still a bit off £12k. Its a last resort but I'm not quite back against the wall in terms of having to sell. I can quite happily enjoy the car till Jan / Feb. Appreciate its a bit of hassle getting the bits sorted but the market will hopefully pick up by then and if not who knows maybe his offer will still stand? In the meanwhile it seems there are a few newbies on here who may be interested in the coming months and know its here so all good

Don't forget if you leave it till Jan/ Feb its another year older so to speak, so little less attractive. If it were me and I wanted rid defo take the dealer offer

Would you consider re-taking the photographs?
The current ebay ones aren't brilliant, the car looks lost in an industrial estate, no detailed interior shots, the doors are closed so we only see the tops of the sports seats, whats been hidden (buyer may think worn bolsters?)
You have refurbed the wheels, perhaps not to anyones tatse, but show them off to show no kerbing, same with tyres, engine bay, boot.
I hope my comments are constructive as it appears a great car for someone.

for me its the red calipers & non standard colour wheels that are putting buyers off. they both scream 'messed with'

people who are paying top money for a car of 7 years old over 10 grand want it original as possible

Just my 2p.

My car was heavily 'messed with' but sold within 3 days. Priced right anything will sell.

It's a difficult market but I think it's worth £11k / £11.5. Not overly keen on the coloured stars so that would be my first job.

Everything else IMO is mint

He asked for people's opinions - it was just my 2p as I stated above, I sold my last 330 heavily modified and also sold within 3 days actually :)

Also, everything else is mint, like I said, only the Stars & calipers need changing, it's either 'messed with' or standard, in between they just seem to be in no mans land

Thanks guys, I wonder if anyone wants to swap alloys plus a few quid my way haha

On a serious note - I've had heavily modified cars in the past (engine, suspension, interior, exterior, steering, instrument cluster, etc, etc the list goes on...) I agree its non-standard but its minimal changes in my opinion. The red I get can be garish but I think it goes with the interior. The stars are personal taste, I probably should have listened to my dad and had them done in standard silver!

Last reduction before it ultimately gets chopped in (pretty much found the replacement) .. Must be worth a member picking it up at this price!

This is pretty much exactly what I'm after (and love the wheels and red callipers) but need to sell my own car first unfortunately :headbang:
