Cripes, you never drove it, 13,000 miles :D

Good luck with the new car
That was one of my reasons in the end. Although I did put 3k on in the last 3 months which was massive for me.

Thanks mate.

Jeez, I havent been on here for ages and you have sold the car!

Must have been a difficult decision for you mate and good luck with your next purchase.

Cheers

Yes it was a majorly difficult decision, and took me a good few days to think about it properly. However, from the moment I made my mind up I decided there was no going back and things moved very quickly.

Off to view some cars at the weekend. Won't be the same but I've got that 'getting a new car' excitement at the moment. I say new, it will be 3 years old (and I've had new cars since 98 so will be weird), but looking forward to it anyway.

Being in Sheffield, your proposed car sounds great to negotiate the rivers over there

Shame to hear it's gone. Your signature picture helped make me get my Z4MC. Every I saw it I thought how amazing the Z4MC can look in gray.

Really? Never knew that.

Thats really good to know - and great choice!

That's my car next to yours for sale! Some price they want for them but made my life easy so was happy with the deal from Sytner.

Looking for that practical car too!

Don't forget to try a used RS6, 2003/2004. Test drove 2 now and they are insanely fast, in fact faster than almost anything I've driven!

The X5 is good, don't rule out an E39 M5. Going to see one today!

Miss the Z4M a lot. But it had to go and I don't think the prices would have risen much more.

Bloody hell thats some mark up on yours mate! Agree with what you say though, and it was an easy sale.

I actually bought an X5 yesterday, 06 plate, specc'd up really well:

3.0d Sport Auto
Toldeo Blue
March 06, 06 plate (9th March so in the lower Tax threshold)
Black nappa leather
CD Changer
Comms Pack & Assist (nav, bluetooth, TV)
Folding Mirrors
Premium Package (xenons, Pan sunroof, lumbar)
Smoke Grey Poplar Wood trim

Hopefully picking it up next Saturday. So in the two weeks since selling my car, I've gone from saying I'll get a runabout to buying this! So my plans have changed somewhat but really looking forward to getting it. Looking forward to the practicality thats for sure. Having had 2 seaters for 6 years, it will be a change. Been in Z's for 4.5 years too, but glad to stick with the marque.

Did you cancel the deal for the M5 then mate? RS6 - nice!

I know the feeling. I was nearly crying when I sold my Clio Trophy last week. However, I got a Z4 out of the process so it can't be that bad!

senwar, X5 sounds nice mate. Z4MC prices can't/won't go much or any higher that's for sure so you've done the right thing if you needed to offload it. I'm thinking about offloading the SLK now and running the Micra until Xmas LOL. We'll see.

Looking forward to pics of the X5 :)

Sorry Mike, we can not let people who drive a Micra post on the forum ... :D

Think there must be some jap forums somewhere .... :P

Sorry to hear that you are departing with your Z4MC. I've done the same myself and I'm getting an E90 M3 instead. It took me about five minutes to forget the Z4MC after driving the M3. In the northern climates, the Z4 (M or not) is at best a
second car and not a very practical one at that. I'm sorry to say that but the Z4MC is a one-trick pony. It's great in the twisties but for the rest it's difficult to live with. The M3 will prove to be a superior car in almost every aspect.

I also own a 2007 E70 X5 4.8i. That is a superlative vehicle. I highly recommend it. The 4.8i engine is very thirsty however. I would recommend the xDrive 35d instead.

Good luck.

Just for you Senwar ..... your old CSL wheels have themselves a good new home :D

Got them on after the day at Prodrive and in time for the drive down to Goodwood .... only just now found time to get the photos off the camera and post up on here.
