Golf tee mod on a 2.3???

Heard about the mod, thought even an idiot like me could do this
Just put car up on mates borrowed ramps and can’t find the valve/pipe.

Would this be because it’s not a thing on the 2.3 e89???

I bypassed the valve on my MGTF, but what a drone at motorway speed. Does the Z4 sound the same?

I didn’t find much difference to be honest, a slightly deeper tone but not what you’d call intrusive? :?

The droning on my 35iS especially on the motorway was really irritating and I was glad to revert back !

I’ve noticed that too, it’s fine with the roof down so I may well revert back for the winter. It only takes a minute so easily sorted.

For the sort of vehicle it is I find it surprisingly quiet Dave, and tbh the mod doesn’t make that much difference.
Personally I love the rasp of the Mercedes 63 cars
