Been looking on auto trader and cant find a 55 06 2.5 in my budged so i will prob be going for the 2 litre . I have seen a thread were there is the automatic folding roof is this a option with the z4 and could i barter it into the deal when buying ? Is there anything i should specialy look out for when test driving ?
 
No in the UK the electric roof is standard, on certain model years you can lower it with the key, and it seems that it can be programmed too without an aftermarket module.

What's the budget so we can help?
 
a large number of 56 plates have been available in the north west recently. 2ltr sports with 5k to 12k on the clock. with comfort pack selling for around £19,500. play the dealers off against each other and you will get a good deal. i got a 56 sport with comfort pack and new england leather (£1,300) options for a very very good price. i got plenty off on the car and more than i thought on my trade in. i would go for the sport every time. personally the extras you get - suspension, seats, steering wheel etc make the difference.

the electronic hood is standard in the face lift models. and my 56 plate has the key auto roof.

Aim for a 2.5Si SE or 2.5Si Sport, there are a few about for that budget and remember you'll be able to haggle with them too.

Great colour and nice spec, would be nice for about £18k it looks a bit overpriced at £19.5k

If it's not too far away go have a look and make a low offer and see what response you get, might just take it.

its only 22 miles away so its worth a look :D
 
If you can stretch to a higher mileage 2.5, I certainly would. But what ever you do...don't rush!!! Take your time so you can sit back and enjoy your new baby. You don't want to be second guessing yourself a few weeks after getting it.

yes and no :headbang: i will be puting a deposit down and organising the plated to be changed over to it but i need to wait till the 28th to pick it up because of only being 20 and needing to be 21 for the insurance . hopefully i can get 7 days free insurance and pick it up on the 21st
