Going to be a daddy !!

Yes, we're really happy, certainly because it took us so long and we got mixed advices from doctors. At first the doctor stated there was a problem with my... erm... "swimmers" :roll: It seemed to be of bad quality, which was normal for men today. When I heard that, I was devastated and really surprised. The fact that after 2 years we still weren't pregnant, only confirmed this. But then when going to a specialised clinic, they told me everything was fine and good quality. Shows you that you should always get a second opinion for things that really matter.
It's also funny to notice what difference reactions you get from family and friends. Last night I told my friends, that I have known for 20 years now. 1 couple already has a child and they were very happy, talked about it all night long. The other couple does not have children and it's even a touchy subject as one of them wants kids and the other doesn't. So we got a "congratulations" and that was about it, lol. Other friends I have told, friends I've only known since meeting my wife, immediately stood up, gave us a hug and almost cried... Funny to see... Oh and than you have the "warners", telling you how much your life will change and beware of this, beware of that etc...

Well, so far everything is going well. My wife is about 4 months pregnant now and during the last echo, we were already able to verify loads of things to check the baby's health and growth.
But now the question remains... what to do with the Zed? I don't have to give it up, I can keep it if I want to. But when I drive it, my wife usually joins me. On the rare occasions I'm alone in the car is when I drive it to work once in a while. With 2 other daily's, the Zed is only used in the weekend when we want to visit our parents or go out and about. With a child on the way... well you get my drift. :roll:
So I'm thinking of having the Zed replaced, maybe next year. But what to replace it with? there are not that many 4-seater sport cars that actually look like a sport car. Sure, the M3 popped in my head, but it still looks to much like a regular sedan. The Z4 Coupe came to mind, but my wide really prefers a convertible, regardless the size of the engine... The 911 came to mind as well, but that's more expensive in buy and maintenance and had a very bad previous experience with the 911 (996)... :x

Okay.....first off congratulations. Its the most scary but the most amazing thing being a father.
My advice. Get the best, fun car you can and enjoy it. If you have a family car that works then great but I can assure you it's essential to have a little bit of joy on the garage! Trust me. I've been there

Yes, I've read on the forum that you sold your Zed, got a 335 (if I am correct) and now back to the roadster... I suppose you mostly drive it on your own or as a daily?
