I'm going for a job interview in Stoke-On-Trent tomorrow and I'm after a bit of help. I'm looking for somewhere half decent to eat lunch, preferably within half an hour of getting to Stoke-On-Trent as the interview is at 2pm. Thanks guys, quite looking forward to giving the Zed a decent run :driving:
 
Sorry can't help with a place for lunch (I live 20 miles south of SOT) but my advice is to get to the location early and look for something close by as the M6 and A500 can be a nightmare at times.

I would'nt use the M6 toll, generally you should be ok, the M6 toll only gets you to J11a of the M6 you need to travel to J15 then use the A500. Just allow time for problems. If you are aware of problems on the M6 after J12 you can exit on the A5 west and after 1 mile turn right going north on the A449 through Stafford and continue north on the A34 this will take you to the A500.
 
Nice pub on the A50 near Uttoxeter, its on the way and called the Racehorse I think, post code and Road name Derby Road, Staffs ST14 5AA (A50/A518) about 30 mins from Stoke on Trent if that helps. means coming cross country off the M6 :thumbsup:

just for the record, stoke is not up north :rofl:

what are people in stoke? they're neither northerners or southerners
