Going green

Was thinking about a Cayman R and came close to buying one, but decided I didn't want to spend that much at the moment.

The next day after taking that decision this Cayman S turned up on Autotrader, it was the perfect spec for me so left a deposit over the phone.

Flight down to London the following week, 550 miles or so drive and it was home. I've had it for a few weeks now.

The colour won't be everyone's cup of tea, but I love it.

Stunning looking car and IMHO the colour works well with the cayman body shape. Love the Cayman S graphics too.

Watching the Cayman / Boxster market closely (as well as the Z4m market) and warming to speed yellow.

Don't tell any one, but I have always liked the Cayman. The colour is nor for me though. Enjoy. :driving:

Thanks, both the Z4M and Cayman S are great cars, you'll be happy with either I'm sure.

I really like the Cayman in green, yellow, orange etc. Not so easy to find though.

The colour makes it, a big  from me.

Enjoy many happy miles in it :driving:

Cheers
A pity the weather's turned a bit colder but I intend to make good use of it. Would be a shame to keep it hidden away in the garage.

Looks great and looks to have mega spec too with CCB and the carbon buckets.

Colour works well IMHO. :)

Enjoy the car they are great

Nice looking car. The color would have to grow on me but then we all have different tastes. In this day and age, I envy you to be able to fund this purchase. Good luck and enjoy!

Thanks all

There's a few things to do, needs new rear trailing arms, which I'll do tomorrow, it was also mentioned at it's last service that the front condensers have seen better days, I'll do that later and there's a scratch on the front wing to take care of.

Unusual spec and colour. As hopz mentioned it has carbon buckets and carbon ceramic brakes also LSD, active suspension and a decent list of other stuff.
Very happy :)

Nothing wrong with the colour. The black zed nestled alongside just sets it off nicely.

Very nice and a great spec with the seats and lsd. Can’t be too many like that 8)

Great choice, love the colour.. those wheels are tasty too :D Not long joined the Porker club myself :driving:

This is my other half’s car. The amount of compliments she gets when out and about is unreal.

Love the colour pal and the proper seats :D did a similar journey couple of years back picking a C63 up from Sunningdale you must be near Aberdeenshire then ?

Very nice Car - I ummed & aahed between a Cayman S & a Z4MC back 3 years ago - but I struggled to find the right Cayman, and when my Z4MC came up I couldn't resist! I really wanted one with the LSD but they seem to be quite rare, and getting the rest of the spec to align as well was proving quite challenging!

Enjoy the new one, shame the M is going - it's a stunner too!
