Going away to the other side of the pond.

Well just entering Chichgo. Got stopped in Indiana by a state trooper..... he was not impressed with the speed we were doing. He knocked down our average speed..........
 
US road trips are awesome apart from the troopers...

Was asked by a trooper in North Carolina if "you drive that fast in England, boy"? Apparently, the response of "no officer... ...I normally drive much faster" wasn't the answer he was expecting...
 
Nope - turns out he was a Vet' and had served in Germany. He knew about European driving and that ID card of mine (now long gone) helped...

... gave me a huge dressing down though.
 
Glad to here you didn't get a ticket. Do you know if you had gotten one would it have been on your record over there. I would think that you could just forget about it.
 
OMG! They are a terrible influence, have fun, just don't get caught is what they are trying to say!
 
Dude, you're going the wrong way for fun, curvy roads! Shoulda kept going SOUTH. Do watch out for the troopers, though. :driving:
 
Well, we are currently going through Kansas. Haven't seen any troopers now for awhile. Its been a long night......... just passing exit 163
