Go Pro footage; Me and my Z4M for the first time on Spa

I'd be up for that! But if they don't allow soft tops it may be a bit of an expensive trip!
No stress, this is not the rule on Spa!
The track was rented by a track day organisation and this time it was not a public track day from the track it self. Normally there are no problems with roadsters. But with this track day organiser it was forbidden to drive with a softop (on any track they rent). Was the first time ever I had experienced this. This organization is more focused on pure track cars and amateur race cars... There were 95% cars with full race harness and cage that are not street legal. Only 3 normal cars in the paddock (2x1M and me). But we had great fun! Normally it's never a problem to have a soft top with other organizers and with the public days of the track.

I really want to go back for the second time (with new tires and new brake pads). What a great track..! What about a mini Z4M meeting?

:trampoline: How about a time-trial day? Coupe's V Roadsters (cumulative average time wins), then we can put the debate to bed once an for all :fuelfire:

Had a fab day there last year even with a lunchtime start on a full day due to fog!! Remember the bend at 2.00 well, just been overtaken by a challenge stradalle ?sp and used his braking point as my own. Fortunately there is a good chunk of Tarmac run off as I left the track at around 90-100mph!

Tapatalking on my iPad.......

Was you go-pro fixed with the attachments that came with the kit? I have just bought the motorsport go pro pack for our road trip to Stelvio and beyond and always a bit wary of cameras outside the car but that footage and sound looked great. Have always used internal mounts (Finbar Saunders) before but think I will give the external a go although maybe not for the Autobahn runs.

That Go Pro footage looks awesome! I reckon I've got to get me one of those..... perhaps I'll have to get a 'M' to go with it though

I use the attachments that came with the motorsport kit. The small plate with the 3M stickies stays on really well. The suction cup works also.
