go pro, editing and macs, advice please....

so im trying to knock together a really well edited video clip of my z4m kicking some ass, just wondered what you guys use to edit to footage?? id like to add music, fade scenes in and out, does the standard go pro HD 2 software allow this level of work???

any pointers would be great....

with all these days in the house ive decided to try and make a video to cover all aspects of a supercharged z4m from driveability to power, also outline any pitfalls/work thats been done to get the car to be reliable and of course some proper runs...im forever recieving emails about the s54 and ess kits so i thought it would be cool to nail it in one detailed clip, not to mention some pretty cool runs with my neighbours r8 v10.

I used to use pinnacle studio but that was a couple of years ago so not used it for a bit but it was a good piece of home kit. Would recommend it.

Have you not tried iMovie on mac? I'm sure that should do all you need.

Money no object Final cut, but thats overkill really and not cheap.

Have not tried IMovie ;-) wasn't aware of its features but will give it a go

+1. iMovie will probably be enough for you... Final Cut is the pro option.

thanks again, looking at the tutorials available it seems imovie will be able to do all i need.... for anyone thats interested theirs some great ones on youtube... i didnt even realise i HAD imovie as its not on my desktop, it need to be activated from launchpad, its now moved onto my desktop.

Adobe Premier Editions is also good. iMovie should be your first attempt though, I don't have it but friends love it.

I'm using iMovie 11 which comes with the latest apple software lion x I think it's called... Really impressed with the trimming feature which is really easy to use.
