hero 3 silver now £200 so so tempted!

I used mine last week when snowboarding great shots and you take loads more pictures because its out and oyur not worried about it getting wet or broken like a normal cmaera

I know sam, i used a mates Hero 2 last year and was really impressed! The Blacks stats look really good so im very very tempted to buy my own this week!
 
Don't buy the silver, it's pretty much the same spec as the 2. Spend the extra money and get the black, it's much better.
 
Tempted by one of these but don't know how much I'd use it

What does the black do that the silver doesn't.

Read the same last night. 3 Black looks to have battery issues. Maybe the 2 is a better bargain at the moment.
 
used a go pro 2 for the for the first time in Sept on a track day and thought it was fantastic. needs the extention bits though as don't know where I was aiming the camera and sound recording also. Got lucky and the recording was really good. very impressed with these things!

Get a wifi back pac and you can use your phone as a view finder to set up your shots

I also use an external mic in the car

I got mine on amazon for under £15

But if you can get a normal case for cheaper you can just drill holes in it
