Damn!

Hope you wax your car mate.

A gentle hose down after a deep breath...

Or get a car cover...

Or Sabotage the quarry...

Bastards! havent they got better things to do on a bank holiday weekend.

Hope it cleans up ok for you.

On the bonnet it's almost glued to it where the washers had left screen wash :(

Snowfoam and jet wash will get rid of it but that was a 3 days since washed clean car under that crap

*sigh*

x2 on getting a car cover Stu - a total PITA I know, but got to be worth it to protect that pristine paint. I never noticed you complaining about this with #69... Is it a new quarry, or did the blue just not show it up so much ?

I think either it's showing more, or the wind has changed direction, or just a combination of circumstances but this is twice since I've owned her that I've come out to find this crap

Actually, it must be the colour, as the S-Max and 206 which are similar colours don't show it as much

I'll just have to put her in the garage I have access to on a Sunday night and collect her Friday nights. It does take away the spontaneous "sun = zed" though as the garage is a mile away

If I take 20 mins to walk a mile, shoot me!

It's the fact that the garage belongs to monster in law and that morally you have to check in and have a cup of tea and exchange pleasantries (all the while making sure the tea isn't poisoned)

I've used this garage once, when I was in the US for two weeks and decided to keep IMmie under cover.

Do something before passing kids write 'Clean Me' in the rock dust and you end up with words scratched into the paint

Might be worth having one of the nanotech ceramic coatings applied as they protect from minor scratches and the rock dust should just rinse off with water

That's a complete pain, Stuart - would agree with Perry you need to get it off before some halfwit tries to write something in the dust. Also agree you notice it more with the colour, I have the same every spring with tree pollen, but at least that won't scratch the paintwork!

Tapatalking...

That's lousy to see Stuart feel for you, I used to use a cover on my TVR before I had a garage but I found you end up doing more damage than good putting it on & taking it off & crap still sneaked underneath when it was windy so I didn't bother in the end.

Problem for me was the Cerb leaked water inside badly when it rained I used to have a 3 inch puddle in the drivers footwell :(

Thank god I sold the silly thing! :)
