I'd love that gearbox, but I think I'm staying petrol-powered ALPINA for a while. Maybe an F31 version sometime, though :roll: It's amazing that that diesel lump is almost as fast as my twin turbo petrol and returns those economy/emission figures 8)

Chris Harris actually preferred the handling characteristics of the E9x 6-pot ALPINA's as effectively they have just carried-over BMW's standard settings on the F30-based cars and none really felt 'right' to him on UK roads. The E9x versions were properly ALPINA-fettled. Feedback I've had suggests the rear tyres won't last too long on them, either, and at 20" PSS, that's gonna hurt! :evil:
