Glovebox handle has fallen off...

I open my glove box this morning to put something in my glovebox and the handle came off... Anyone else had this problem..?

It won't stay on when I put it back in place :thumbsdown:
 
Yup, quite common. there is a little metal pin that works its way out. easy to put back together though

Ahh :)

I seem to remember the handle/latch assembly unscrews from the lid. Get one from a scrappy and switch? or pull the one out from the scrappy?

HAd a look on realoem and couldnt find the part... not sure how far the assembly is broken down if you went to a stealers as you probably dont want to buy the entire flap.
 
I'm looking for the housing. If you find one whole might workout cheaper to split it?

I'll keep an eye out at the weekend as I need to go hunting for a wing anyway. Also, I'll take the glovebox out when I get home from work tomorrow and see if I can bodge it if I can't find the metal pin thing :thumbsup:
