Glove Box

My glove box doesn't appear to have a light inside ? Is this correct ?

My wife's Brand New Audi A1 tfsI S Line is the same ? No glove box light

Is this something with German Cars ?

It's very frustrating !

It doesn't need a light because when you open it, everything falls out on the floor, which is illuminated.
Not to mention there isn't any more room than for a pair of gloves anyway.
