Glove Box light

Hi

Glove box light has stopped working. I have replaced bulb to no avail. I guess it maybe a fuse. All other interior lights working ok. Any ideas as to what fuse box the 5amp fuse will be located in, behind glove compartment or under bonnet? I seemed to remember somebody placed a fuse layout diagram on here many moons ago?

Has it ever worked? Sure it's not a cost option. Everything else seems to be with BMW

Helpful......not!

Anyway Zedster, it's a 5amp fuse and yes the fuses are located in the glovebox. I remember there being someone putting up a diagram but can only find Adams E85/E86 one. I've attached a link http://e89.zpost.com/forums/showthread.php?t=826566 all I can say is good luck  it's not the greatest thing to follow and they don't put it in the handbook any more

ISTA/D suggests Fuse No. 77, with a 10A rating. It also appears to supply the luggage compartment light and Pin 17 of the Heating/Air conditioning connector. So, if the luggage light is working, it won't be the fuse.

Once you've fixed it, how will you know it turns off when you close the glovebox??
:? or the fridge light? :? or if a tree falls over in the forest and there is no-one there to hear it does it make a sound?? :?

discuss............ :poke:
