I'm constantly amazed by company's ineptitude at reducing their carbon footprint. for instance, today i received a massive box via courier. As the guy hoiked it from the van with ease and then handed it to me i thought someone must be taking the mickey or something, as it felt empty!
'you bought some of that expensive designer mountain air' the courier quipped, in dutch.
'grappig' (funny) i replied.
Had no idea what it could be. Couldnt remember ordering anything that would justify a massive box.
Thought it might be a client supplying a sarcastic purchase order.
But no, it was the 2 sheets of sound-deadening material i had ordered from Conrad.nl for Bennys door panels. Ridiculous.
I now have to puncture the 385 million plastic air pockets, cut and fold up the box and stick em in the recycle bins.
Just bonkers
