Gliptone Scuffmaster Dye issue

So, I purchased some M Sports seats that needed a refurb. I started off my cleaning thoroughly with the Gliptone cleaners and then conditioning and then finally dying them with 5 coats of dye (at each stage of this I left to dry and also used a heat gun on low setting to speed up the drying process).

Went to apply the first of a few coats of conditioner after leaving them for 5 days for the dye to fully dry and what happens, the dye starts to come off when applying the conditioner! It doesn't actually look as though it's affecting the finish i.e the seats are still perfect but it's just a little disconcerting that this would happen.

I did try using water, to see if it would start coming off in a regular situation but nothing. So, I tried the cleaner again and the dye starts to come off.

Maybe it's because I applied 5 coats that it's just the top coats of that dye that are coming off.

Anybody else had this issue?

Have you tried an email to Gliptone to ask their opinion/advice?

Their customer service is supposed to be pretty good

Yeah. Just waiting to hear back from one of their technicians.

Just wondering whether it'd happened to anybody else.

My concern would be the conditioner before the dye.

I'd have thought clean dye then condition.

What they say is to condition to get the leather nice and soft and then thoroughly clean with the intensive cleaner which I did around 3 times over 3 days so it really should have removed all of the conditioner.
