Glad I bought the warranty

I was definitely a non-warranty person with my Z4. Paid nothing for a warranty and had nothing go wrong in 3.5years. Quids in for me, but it certainly is a gamble you take. Hoping for the same with the Z4 replacement.

Do any of you guys know what the stand is with mods and the warranty extended cocver, also do u need to keep a FBMWSH?

It states this in the terms but dont know how strict they are?

I muh prefer an Indie Service for my 6 yr old car.
Standard terms are any non-original item would be excluded from the warranty (e.g. AP brakes, aftermarket exhaust, etc.), and they would also try to wriggle out on engine/transmission damage if the engine had been modified (including remapping).

Ultimately it depends on how friendly your dealer (for AUC/Mondial warranty) or indy (for A.N. Other warranty) is.

Kinda guessed it will be dependent on the stealer. Its a bit of pot luck as they can blame a lot of things on aftermarket exhaust, alloys etc.

To an extent.

They couldn't get away with a warranty claim for a failed roof motor or transmission fault if you'd put AP brakes on, for example. But might get away with claiming your emissions warning lights are on due to an aftermarket exhuast/remap.
