Girlie Car.......wtf......!

I came back from picking my son up yesterday in the Z (brief bit of afternoon sun 8) )

I pull onto the drive as a couple are walking past my house and I hear the woman say "see, it's not a girlie car there's a bloke driving it".............! :headbang:

To make matters worse my brother makes hairdresser jokes every time he sees it...... "But it's 3 litres" I feebly try to protest' "it's a proper roadster" of course it makes no difference to his remarks of "so when can I get my highlights done" :violent1:

Anyone else?
 
I find 'f*ck off :P ' is the appropriate level of response for these people. If you try and dumb it down any more for them they win.

I gave a male friend a lift. He told me what a girly car I have (which isn't a problem as I am a woman if not that girly), got onto a dual carriageway and REALLY opened it up. You know the score lovely 3 litre noise, flew past everyone etc. Parked up and again he said it was a really girly car. Hmmm I should take it as a compliment I reckon.
 
When I had the roadster I heard perhaps 2 'hairdresser' jibes from the guys on my station..Since getting the Coupe I've had nothing but compliments. Therefore I deduce that the coupe is 200% more masculine. ...you cant argue. ..its a science fact... :thumbsup:

That said, girlcarguycar.com has the Z4 roadster as predominantly a guy car.....science contradicting science.

ah girlcarguycar.com is poo pooed in science circles as its pure conjecture. .the didnt factor in the 2.0l effect...a phenomenon only found in the roadster.....
 
Someone described my Z4 as a 'Porn Star's Car'. Didn't know whether to laugh or cry so I ignored the comment. :?
The bloke who made the comment is a lorry driver. :P
 
I am happy to accept my Zed is a tad girlie - let me explain.

Using the scientific mind one can solve this from first principles...

If you want to catch fish you need to buy fishing gear.

Therefore

If you want to get the girlies you need to buy a girlie car.

Faultless logic but does pose another question...

Why do some men buy 'manly' cars?

Won't make any difference. I have one of those in a huge jeep pickup truck and you just get quips about small tackle.

Jealous people use anything to put down cars and things they cannot have but secretly like. If you listened then every BMW, Audi, Merc is a w*nkers cars, long bonnet for small dick! softtop for hairdresser and on and on.
