Gigs (concerts for the mature) for 2017

Was going to see Amy McDonald at Manchester but had to cancel it. Iron Maiden would be brilliant, I'd go if at all possible, awesome live show.

I was also at the last Black Sabbath show on Saturday, Ozzy and the boys put on a hell of a show!

Next up is Iron Maiden and Kiss in May, and Guns N' Roses in June. Just waiting for Metallica to announce their UK shows!

Sabbath would have been great, lucky man! What night are you seeing Maiden? I'm heading up to the o2 for the 28th May

I'm seeing them in Birmingham on the 21st May.

And if you're thinking it's a trek from Brighton, well it's a bit of a family outing (going with my Dad, Brother & Sister) and as my sister is up north and parents/brother in the Midlands, it makes sense to meet in the middle!

I go out most weekends to low key / underground gigs-small bands, artists. Had passes for Sabbaths last stand but gave them to my Pal and his gf who are die hard fans from time.

Makes perfect sense to me! Three of my planned ones are in London, 500 mile round trip each time from Plymouth, only Maiden is the weekend, other two are midweek and have to go to a wedding the day after Thrice. All worth it though for good music, maybe with the exception of Sum 41, but it was a tenner...

Thought it would be interesting to see what gigs people will be heading to, if any, this year!

So far I have Sum 41, Elbow, Iron Maiden and Thrice all lined up. Three of those are in London so will be taking the Z up to Surrey then jumping on the train the rest of the way. Hopefully the weather will hold out for passing the piggies on the 303

Good to see that Sum 41 is still around.
They are from just down the road.

Got tickets for the kooks in April tried to get tickets for ed sheeran but ended up with just one ticket so don't really know what I'm gonna do about that one....

Want to hit a festival this year but it's probably unlikely as I'm getting married end of the year and got loads of 30th 50th and 80th birthdays to attend
