Ghosting - A waste of time

Have been in the process of changing out the daily driver for something else in the last couple of weeks, and came across a lot of Ghosting (the process of advertising online a car already sold) .

Even to the point of demo's that were known to be sold popping back for sale one or two weeks later ... I understand the need to drive footfall but this is a serious waste of everyone's time.

The other slight tweek was in at least one case to drop the advertised price on the internet once the vehicle was sold.

I'll be honest this is a marketing practice that we could all do without.

OK rant over .... anyone else cheese'd off with this ?

Had a lot of it while searching for a car recently. On the Astons I called for most were sold weeks before and just waiting for delivery before removing from the dealers web sites.

Unfortunately the motor trade is full of wazzocks and wrong 'uns.it is shoddy practise and should be stopped.
