Hi all, last night removed the shopping from the boot and locked up with the remote, later my wife said the alarm armed red light was not flashing so I stood at the front door using the remote open and lock, alarm light started flashing ok went to bed. This morning the window cleaner called and in passing said did I know both front windows were down, went out in dressing gown opened drivers door and closed both windows.
Later gave the car a quick wash then going out sat in the car noticed some water drops on the dash looked up and the roof was slightly open, opened roof and closed again ok.
So what happened how did both front windows open and the roof start to open during the night? any ideas, car is due service 2 next week and I have extended warranty.

I had a similar problem with a New Ford Kuga 6 months old. Parked it up locked it when I came back 2hrs later all the windows had dropped. To cut a long story short the car was back and forward to the dealers, Ford Tech came out from Ford on three visits. Car was off road for nearly 40 days. turned out to be a remote key sensor located in the rear roof light.

Don't let it go, the second time it happened to me, car was parked overnight outside a hotel... it rained all night and the car was soaked.
