Nice write up on your first few days with your Zed. Some cracking twisty roads up hat way. Have you taken her up the cliff toll route yet?

Yup, there are some great roads right on my doorstep. Off season they can be very quiet allowing maximum enjoyment. During the school holidays (silly season) they can be slow going though.

Are you referring to the Porlock toll road? Only had the car since Sunday, but will be venturing out as often as possible and introducing the Zed to all the best bits the area has to offer.

Yes, that's the one. Very tight and some interesting switch backs. A little slippy in places from foliage as I recall. Adds to the fun. I love tight twisty roads. Plenty down here and even in silly season very few use them.
