Getting rid of trim scuffs

Just wondering if there are any ways to clear the shoe scuffs which are ever present on the driver's seat trim (around the buttons) and on the door panel (at the bottom).
Without replacing the parts of course.

It's confounding how easy it is to mark up trim with an article of clothing and how hard it is to remove! Prevention is the best solution, avoid wearing shoes that make such marks. (or get a car with a black interior) Alas, fashion can be a demanding mistress, so marks are often inevitable.

I've had some luck with melamine foam products ("Magic Eraser" et al). They are mildly abrasive, so use with care and plenty of soapy water.

Thats not from me. From previous owner(s).
The seat trim it easy enough, might as well replace it, it's only a couple of quid; the door car however...

As above magic eraser or magic sponge what ever they are called

Amazing at what they can remove from trim

You can even use them on the steering wheel and other bits and brings it all up as good as new

I've tried that in the past but to be honest when the scuffs are bad you end up smoothing the area and it doesn't look quite right.
This isn't too bad though so will give it a shot :)
