Getting rid of runflats

This is the one I got for mine after watching a youtube video doing comparisons between the brands.

Slime smart repair with pump - can apparently from the video it can be washed out.

Thanks all. I think I am running the 19" wheels (same as your profile pic by the looks of it). So you think a negligible difference in ride quality? I was quite shocked to discover how 'crashy' mine was when I picked it up.

Same here. I've owned my car for just over a year and fitting non-runflats was always one of these things I "meant" to do.

Did it a few weeks ago, fitted Pirelli P Zero. The difference is not "night & day" but definitely better ride quality, the "crashiness" has gone.

With the 19" wheels and ultra-low profile the ride quality will always be "firm" (to put it politely), but I'm glad I did it.

Inflation kits with gloop are actually pretty useless. What does work (and almost permanently) are the sticky string type tyre repair kits. You will still need the compressor though. You also need to know how to use them. A pair of pliers is also useful to help pull offending metal nails out of the tyre before reaming and plugging.

Thanks for the responses everyone. I ended up bottling it and sticking with runflats, but put four new Pilot Sport 4s on and it really has transformed the ride for the better.
