Getting my service book stamped?

Hi guys, when I bought my car, the previous owner forgot to get the last service (oil) stamped in the book. It was at Williams BMW Liverpool, and I rang them to confirm that the service was actually on the system.

Do I have to go up to Liverpool to get it stamped or can I go to my local dealer?

I had the same issue mate. Just sent it back to my dealer in Park Lane and they are getting it stamped and sent back to me via recorded delivery. I suggest you send it in the post if its too far

Had this happen to me too, twice and both dealers stamped it no probs even though they were both posted - they sent it back in days. P.S. if you do have to post it make sure it's recorded delivery as I spent ages getting all the stamps chased up the last time (the original book was lost) only for the final journey back to me the Royal mail lost it and I had to do it all again.........what did I get in return.....a book of 8 stamps!! Ba*tards!

I never received the service book when I bought mine Dealer sorted a new one sending it to the previous servicing dealers etc to get the stamps in a new book

always forget to take mine in, whoops. all same dealer tho, so will catch up someday.
