Yep, I found a good condition Z3 3.0i R, Sapphire Black with a complete M package (not the motor unfortunatey), just the suspension and all the trim. considering I was looking for a plain 3.0i I think this is pretty cool. Should pick it up in a month or so, we can't get it out of the garage or drive it down the road 'til at least the middle of March (this IS Canada eh?)

Yep me too, I had a 3.0sport,
Would be nice to have a £3k 1.9 version as a daily runabout, and keep the Animal in the garage and use him just for 'fun'.

mcbeee, good luck with your new toy... :play:
About half of our local ZSCCA club drives Z3's and they have no interest in moving on to the Z4. One member is current looking for a 2nd Z3 ///M Roadster. Many of the Z3's are now 10 year old or even more and still run and look like new.

I knew this one was around for quite a while. We use a local mechanic for our fleet work on our company vehicles and I've BS'd with him a lot over the years about Z's. This car was his wife's summer driver and they've had it for 6 years. Well maintained etc. New rubber all aound. I have to negotiate the final price next week when we can start it and put it up on his hoist for a real good look-see. (must be nice to have a complete automotive repair shop with all the goodies, in your backyard  ) There's just one problem,....it's friggin Sapphire Black and I've sworn more than once that I'll never have another black car.....but it sure is cute..... I'll go see him this week and give him a deposit on it to keep it safe and warm for another 6 weeks.

I'm going for a Mini-Grand slam (no Z1 or Z8) 'cause I dont have the million to spare to get the other two

Actually I was only thinking about it until my Gf said " We should get a little sporty car to run around in in Phoenix, like your Z3 ..." and it was game over. :driving:

Put the deposit on it today, pick it up at the end of March. A day or two to clean, clay and wax it then a photo op day(if the weather cooperates) It has a few nasty rock chips. may need a respray in a couple of years but that can wait....

Happy Birthday to me... :) :) can't wait for the snow to go away now.... :driving:

It's filthy from sitting all winter and there's cat paw prints all over it, needs a good claying and a polish but it's at my house now. :D

How can i get this M badge off here without f**king up the paint any more than the SoCal fool already did when he took the 3.0i badge off.. I will repaint the car some day to get rid of all the rock chips but not anytime soon.
I'm nervous about what is under the M badge...
