Hi Z-FAW, the Zed you're looking at is an SE which means it comes without the desirable ///M sports seats, ///M sports suspension, ///M sports staggered 18in wheels and /// M sport steering wheel. It has no heated seats either which are very useful on a Zed. The Zed does have interactive buttons on the steering wheel though and is RED which is rare and sought after. Mileage is low (but will rack up quickly and your Zeds value will fall quickly being a 2.0 litre)
The SE version of the Zed is said to have a nicer (slightly softer) ride, tyres are cheaper as they are higher profile side wall 17 in so running a Zed is made cheaper. The engine is the same as in the 2.0i Sport.
The 2.0i Sport would be the preferred choice of most (mostly for the looks as they both can perform well on the road) so resale may be more difficult (or you can change the wheels and seats etc yourself but at a cost). The red is significant and would entice buyers.
There are many 2.0 litres for sale so I would hold out for the 2.0i Sport and take your time to buy one with the most options - lots available. If you are after one in red then you will have to take what you can as there's not many about.
Have you considered a 3.0 litre? You are near the price point where high mileage 3.0si are available. They are well thought of, sought after and have a better reputation in regards to engine. Another option would be the 2.5si - these are cheaper and there are more available as the 3.0si is the preferred model, however they are nearly as capable - the driver makes the difference on the road.
I wouldn't bother plasti-coating the Zed - find one in blue - as I said, there are many for sale.
