Getting 107s Refurbished - Now back with photos

Thanks cj, alot of food for thought there. Im definately going for clear lenses at the rear and side repeaters. I would love to lower it but i already scrape against all the speed bumps locally. Still its something im still looking into. Im not keen on carbon fibre badges, but i like the idea of the aero side skirts.
If i was to fit an M front bumper, would i have to fit facelift headlights? If i did has anyone worked out how to get them working on a pre-facelift car without lots of hassle?

All front bumper fi without modification, aside on the ///M you need to sort out the air ducts instead of fogs. The facelift lights are exactly the same shape and size so just keep oyu r originals. Rear bumper needs facelift lights as their lower profile is different.

CF badges are way better than you imagine. I did it as have many others and would never go back to dated blue and white.

I'd leave it as it is now...

Don't do too many things at once.

I like the blue/white badges too, they add colour and are nice. Going black/white is naff imo. It'd be like having a black/white Ferrari badge, or a black/white Lamborghini badge... :)

You have to be carefully with mods, imo, to keep things cohesive. Just because the wheels are now dark doesn't MEAN you have to make it look stealthy or like a track weapon :)

Just giving you the option of leaving it as it is now and enjoying it. I think they look ok but I'd be wary about changing too much at once, otherwise you may wake up one day £1000 down and decide that it just looks pants :(

Well I quite like the black :)

I think I'm going to do the same to the set of 108's I've just started to refurb - they'll be winter wheels, so black should be a bit more practical.

I'm thinking I'll do them in a jet black and with lots of lacquer, so they'll be a shiny black like a Porsche. If nothing else they'll be a little different :)

+1! Whippy - with you chap. I think the blue/white badges look the bees knees. Black/white, I did consider, but I don't like them. The badges with carbon effect, on the other hand, do look nice.

Sideshowbob - well done on what's a big decision, the result looks good in terms of it coming out right, but personally, the wheels are to dark for me. Car looks like it's from a Batman film. Too agreessive for on the road daily driving. Call me a girl.

As with others,i prefer the oem blue and white bm badges :D

I think the black wheels look ok ,tho i would prob of kept them silver,i agree/we all have difrnt tastes,so if u like them, keep them black

I will be getting my 108's outer rim painted flash/chrome silver next week and will be then refurbing my winter set myself/so might do the outer rims on them black?? :)
